Ghanian Adinkra Symbols

The Ghanian Adinkra symbols originally created by the Bono people of Gyaman, are recognised by their distinctive characters, have many different meanings which convey traditional wisdom, life and of ten linked with proverbs.  The symbols are also used for fabrics, pottery or for architectural features.

Inspired by the visual language of the Ghanian Adinkra symbols, i created a new type. The types exists out of a type with rules according to self created grid system and a free type which i tried to create a fusion  of the visual expressions.
