Content development support for Vlisco&co’s collaborative projects
My role within Vlisco&co was to guide the collaborators with creative direction. Amongst the many tasks I have performed are: By doing reasearch on African culture, offering visual advise by connecting inspirational imagery to the chosen topic/subject, creating mood board, conduct feedback sessions from concept to final execution.

The projects I have participated in:

‘’REANIMATION’’ – Larry Jay x David N.O.Ansah x Ethan Owu
A fashion collection that aims to bring back the renaissance African style, inspired by the antique generation.

‘’Les Bronziers’’ (Le Vieux Dramane) – Keren Lasme for Vlisco&co X Bronze edition
Les Bronziers refers to the bronze-casting craftsmen based in Grand Bassam, Ivory Coast, who still use a wax-casting method dating back to the 10th century. Through the lens of Keren Lasme, the craftsmen were made visible through a visual story, showcasing her admiration for their craft.

‘’Celebration of life’’ Steve French x Ofoe Amegavie for Vlisco&co X Ghana 2nd Edition – Heritage & Storytelling
This fashion photo series tells the story about the cycle of life, based on one of French his 12 grandmothers.

Assisted build up exhibition Mental Super Powers: Jan Hoek
Assisted storytelling workshop Jan Hoek for WeTransfer & KingKongMagazine (September issue A/W 19). Together with Nigerian fashion designers, photographers and art residency 16/16, Jan Hoek established a workshop where both parties teamed up.
